Lesson 1 - Building and Packing Prisms

To encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Building and Packing Prisms, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Folding and Unfolding Nets lets students observe building and unfolding of complex nets.

To use Folding and Unfolding Nets, choose a shape from the pull-down menu. The shapes will fold and unfold in the animation. Click the 'Pause' button to stop the action. Click and drag the shape to rotate it.

Cut-Out Nets lets students build 3-D objects from a net, and build nets from the 3-D shapes.

To use Cut-Out Nets, select a shape from the pull-down menu. Move the slider slowly from 0 to 100. Click on the object and drag the left mouse button to rotate it.
