Explorer
Use this explorer instead
of a spinner to practice determining the probability of an event.

To use the Spinner Explorer, follow
these steps:
- Click "n EQUAL SECTORS" and then click on a number to select the number
of sectors you want your spinner to have.
- Click "OK".
- Click the "SPIN ONCE" button.
- Examine the EVENT AND PROBABILITY CHART. The second last column displays
the probability of an event as a decimal.
- Click "SPIN n MORE TIMES" and then enter the number of times you want
to spin the spinner in the text box.
- Click "OK".
- Examine the chart again and notice the different data. Express the
probability of each event as a percent.
- Try spinning the spinner more times and observe what happens to the
data.
